How To Install
Retrofit Dynamic Partition Rom Flashing Guide For Redmi Note 8/8T:
- Wipe: System, Vendor, Data, Dalvik, Cache, Metadata
- Install Recovery OrangeFox r12.1 Dynamic
- Reboot to Recovery
- Go to OrangeFox setting > General, then untick Unmount System before installing a ZIP
- Flash Retrofit Dynamic Partition Converter
- Flash Firmware: Ginkgo | Willow
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps (if Vanilla Rom) NOTES: if you got Error when flashing Gapps, Reboot to Recovery then Flash Gapps again
- Flash Magisk (Optional, Magisk Alpha Recommended)
- Flash DFE Neo (Optional, only if you want Unencrypted)
- Format Data
- Reboot System (Ignore No OS Installed warning)
Update Rom Retrofit Dynamic Partition
- Reboot to Recovery
- Flash the update Rom
- Flash DFE Neo if Unencrypted
- Reboot System
Switch to another Retrofit Dynamic Partition Rom
- Reboot to Recovery
- Wipe: Dalvik, Cache, Data, Metadata
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps (if Vanilla Rom)
- Flash Magisk (Optional, Magisk Alpha Recommended)
- Format Data or Flash DFE Neo if Unencrypted
- Reboot System
Revert back to Non Dynamic Partition Rom
- Reboot to Recovery
- Go to Menu > Advanced, then click Unmap Super Devices
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps (if Vanilla Rom)
- Flash Non Dynamic Recovery
- Format Data
- Reboot System
NOTES
If you got issue canno’t turn on Wifi/Bluetooth in Dynamic Rom, you need to turn off your Phone then turn on again (not just Reboot)
